How to Download Paralives on Steam

Important: Paralives does not support Intel-based Macs. You need an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 Pro/M2 or newer) to run this game. Integrated graphics on older Intel Macs simply won't cut it. Sorry, Intel Mac folks — time to upgrade if you wanna play.
Fix Download Failed / Not Downloading
Steam download issues are super common, especially during big launches or sales events. If Paralives won't download or keeps failing, here's what actually works — I've been through this grind before:
1. Clear Steam Download Cache
Open Steam → Settings → Downloads → Hit "Clear Download Cache". This nukes corrupted temp files that might be blocking your download. Steam will restart after you do this — totally normal.

Real talk: If you're getting a black screen but can hear audio, the game's probably running at a resolution your monitor doesn't support. Use that launch options trick above to force windowed mode at lower res, then adjust your in-game settings once you can actually see the menu.
Mac-Specific Issues
Paralives runs on Mac thanks to Apple Silicon support, but there are some Mac-specific quirks you should know about:
- macOS Big Sur 11 or later is mandatory — Older macOS versions don't support the game's rendering engine. Update via System Settings → Software Update if you're behind.
